Initially hired as a Sales and Marketing Manager then promoted to Territory Sales manager after 4 months, helped integrate me further into the Ngai Tahu Tourism Whanau.

Responsible for sales territory management in the lower South Island and focusing on Queenstown accommodation sector representing all 14 of the Ngai Tahu Tourism brands. A extra-ordinary role allowing me to build and strengthen agent relationships with training and incentive implementation.

Relationship Management

  • Responsible for regular comms and events to engage with agents. (Mailchimp)

  • Manage sales trips around the South Island and daily sales calls in Queenstown.

  • Actively managing relationships with key accounts: Training new staff, monitoring their sales, feeding agents through famil program, rewarding high performers.

  • Designed agent reward programs

  • Business development: reaching out to potential agents, training them and setting them up in our systems.

  • Represented Ngai Tahu Tourism at various networking events including YoungTec, TRENZ and internal events.

  • Hosting multiple agent training events and product launches with up to 100 attendees

  • Hosting agents from key accounts on famil experiences from the Ngai Tahu Tourism portfolio.

Tech systems and Sales Admin

  • Management of various booking platforms: product development and rate loading (Rezdy, RTBS, Bookme, Viator, Website Travel)

  • Implemented a inventory system connecting to OTAs (Rezdy)

  • Conducting monthly sales analysis for reporting (Excel Pivot tables)

  • Manage signage, collateral design and development for use in agent space

Office Management

  • Managing general office duties of the Southern Region office including supply management, managing cleaning and H&S contractors and nominated H&S Rep.

  • Assisting IT departments with systems and tech in the regional office

Achievements

  • Designed, organised and hosted a quarterly agent training and networking event with 100 attendees

  • Attended TRENZ 2019 with a Shotover jet appointment stream & represented at numerous networking functions

  • Designed and managed exclusive familiarisation program for key accounts resulting in multiple agents working exclusively with NTT brands

  • Implemented a inventory system (Rezdy) to connect with OTAs and trained teams to use it.

  • Built a trade website with all the resources agents require.

Shotover Jet Activation

This was a brand activation event where we ran a photo competition and sold tickets from the caravan.

TRENZ 2019

Here I am in the Jet boat sales manager team. We held appointment streams for Shotover Jet, Dart River Jet and Huka Falls Jet.
